If you backed all favourites since 2003 that had ran their last race exactly 2 days ago over distances 1m to 1m 7.5f then you would have the following results below:

Pretty consistent stuff. I double checked the Betfair SP profits for 2009 and I came with 18.55 pts after 5% commission and if placed bet you would have made 8.78 pts which only 3 horses out of 24 which did not place.
